OUR STORY

We are a full service wedding florist and small scale flower farm based out of our 2 acre homestead just 30 minutes outside of Halifax. We take on events all across the Maritimes.

We love the wedding and event process from start to finish! From meeting our couples and building relationships with them to the excitement of bringing their visions to life on their wedding days - we pour our heart into every moment.

KAYLAN

Creative Director & Owner

Kaylan has worked as a florist since 2008 but her love for flowers started at an early age. Growing up under the mentorship of her Grandfather, a skilled gardener and rose collector, Kaylan has tended flower gardens and found joy in nature for as long as she can remember.

Following this joy, she has taken floral and design courses from a number of incredible florists along with working at several flower shops in Halifax and Toronto. Since the launch of Montgomery Floral in 2018 she has balanced her time between floral design work and developing her skills growing flowers.

Her personal design style is lush and inspired by nature. With a focus on locally grown flowers and sustainability in the floral industry, she sources as much as possible from Maritime flower farmers and strives to grow unique and specialized varieties on her property.

ALEX

Jack of all trades

If you're looking for Alex you can find him tirelessly working on our property, adding and caring for garden beds, putting in irrigation, or puttering in the greenhouse. During wedding season he's the guy filling buckets, prepping flowers and packing vehicles like a tetris master. He makes Montgomery Floral dreams a reality and we'd be lost without him!
